Welcome to Cantiague Elementary School!

Dear Cantiague Elementary School Community,

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year! I hope your summer has provided opportunities to relax, reconnect with family and friends, enjoy the beauty of the outdoors, and spend time doing the things that bring you joy. It has been both a privilege and a pleasure to spend the summer preparing for what promises to be an exciting year at Cantiague.

As I begin my journey as principal, one of my highest priorities is listening and learning. I look forward to getting to know our students, families, faculty, and staff while discovering the many traditions, values, and experiences that make Cantiague such a special place. My goal is to identify the school's many bright spots, celebrate the practices that are deeply meaningful to this community, and understand what has made Cantiague thrive for generations. I have tremendous respect for the exceptional work that has taken place here and across the Jericho School District over many years. By first honoring our history and learning from one another, we can thoughtfully build upon that strong foundation as we envision the future together.

At Cantiague, we are committed to creating a school where every child feels welcomed, valued, safe, and inspired to learn each day. We believe that strong relationships between home and school are essential to every student's success, and I am excited to partner with you throughout the year. Together, we will foster a learning community that celebrates curiosity, kindness, perseverance, and a genuine love of learning.

Throughout the year, ParentSquare will serve as our primary communication platform, where I will share school news, celebrate student accomplishments, and keep you informed about the many wonderful events and learning experiences taking place at Cantiague.
