WELCOME TO Cantiague Elementary school

Cantiague Elementary School, 2012 National Blue Ribbon School, is a "Bucket Filling" community where we focus on the social, emotional and academic growth of each child. Our daily goal is to establish a strong personal and academic foundation rooted in the Super Six – Being a Super Star, Being Responsible, Being Respectful, Being Safe, Being Positive, and Being Kind because with these core values in place, we can each accomplish anything. At Cantiague Elementary, we are changing the world, one bucket at a time! Check out our 21st Century take on the traditional VISION STATEMENT...

Student Leaders Pennies for Patients Campaign

Our annual Cantiague Student Leaders’ Pennies for Patients Campaign benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is underway! The program is a classroom competition to see who can raise the most donations in the fight against blood cancer. Each classroom has a collection box for pennies and spare change. Parents can work with their children in setting up an individual online fundraising page. Students can earn prizes for the funds raised on their individual pages. Our school fundraising website is: http://events.lls.org/pages/li/CantiagueElementarySchool-2018

Cantiague’s 2018 Curriculum Fair is Thursday, January 18, 2018

We are so excited to invite families to Cantiague’s 2018 Curriculum Fair:  Mindset Matters!

We invite families to join us for a special classroom event focused on the concept of Growth Mindset.  Mindset refers to the set of beliefs we have about ourselves and our potential.  If we have a fixed mindset, we believe our potential is limited. We believe we can do something or we can’t.  If we shift towards a Growth Mindset, we don’t limit ourselves – we believe our potential, skills, and choices are expandable, stretchable, unlimited even. With a Growth Mindset, anything is possible!  Here is our Curriculum Fair schedule:

Grades 3-5, 6:00-6:30 pm in classrooms

Grades K-2, 6:45-7:15 pm in classrooms
